Preventive monitoring

Sometimes juveniles offend to indicate that there is more going on than just mischief. For instance when there are problems at home or at school.

It is important to recognise these problems at an early stage to prevent that the juvenile will continue committing more, and more serious, offences.

Halt has created a monitoring instrument that has been specifically developed for this purpose in order to be able to investigate from the very start of the programme whether there are any such problems. 

If the latter is the case, Halt will bring parents and juveniles in contact with an organisation that can help resolve these, such as a youth care agency (Bureau Jeugdzorg) or a parenting support service (Opvoedbureau).
